The orange Chockfast is a specially formulated 100% solid. It is a two-component mixture, a standard inert packing casting mixture used as a chock or grouting material. The orange Chockfast is designed to withstand harsh marine and industrial environments, including high-intensity physical and thermal impacts. The components of the orange Chockfast do not shrink and have high impact strength and compressive strength. Years of successful service experience have shown that choosing the orange Chockfast as a cost-effective option for building and permanently maintaining the precise positioning of equipment in extremely cold and hot environments. The orange Chockfast is recognized and accepted by the American Bureau of Shipping, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, and other major world regulatory agencies.

Packaging Instructions

Net weight per set is 6.8 KG; the pourable volume per set is approximately 4.3 liters. The color is orange. The main agent is in an iron drum, and the curing agent is in a plastic bottle.

Uses

The orange Chockfast is used as a chock or grouting material for the main propulsion devices of ships. The material is used for diesel engines and internal combustion engines, reduction gears, compressors,

pumps, bearing pedestals, crane rails, and other mechanical bases. The orange Chockfast does not require special tools or skills. When casting, the orange Chockfast smoothly flows into the chock area to fill in the blanks and irregular areas. Using the Chockfast does not require the establishment of a base or foundation and can serve as a very suitable chock.

Grouting Process

1. Preheat the orange Chockfast at a temperature of 21°C - 27°C for at least 24 hours before grouting.

2. Measure and record the temperature of the base. Refer to the curing agent ratio guide for the amount of curing agent used when grouting the orange Chockfast. When the base temperature is higher than 35°C, please consult our company.

3. Pour an appropriate amount of the curing agent into the resin container and stir it at a speed of 200 - 250 revolutions per minute for 3 - 4 minutes with a properly sized high-speed mixer. Pay attention to reducing air entrainment (no liquid vortex should be generated during mixing).

4. Pour the Chockfast from one corner to allow the maximum amount of air to escape from the diagonal corner and the open foam weir, and ensure full contact with the machine base.

5. Required curing time: 48 hours at 15°C, 36 hours at 18°C, 24 hours at 21°C, 21 hours at 23°C, 18 hours at 26°C, 15 hours at 29°C, 12 hours at 32°C
