1. To achieve good working conditions, place the materials in an environment of 18 - 25°C for 24 hours before grouting. Control the ambient temperature at 5 - 30°C during grouting and within 24 hours after grouting. A temperature above 20°C is most suitable. Avoid direct sunlight during summer construction. When the temperature is low in winter, build a shed to increase the temperature.
2. The concrete in the grouting area needs to be roughened, free of water, dust, oil stains, etc. A 25mm chamfer should be ground on the outer edge.
3. The formwork should be firmly overlapped and smooth. Seal the gaps between the formwork joints and the foundation with cement or silicone (do not touch the grouting area). Apply grease, wax, or PVC adhesive tape on the inner side to facilitate demolding. Leave a distance of more than 100mm between the formwork and the equipment base, and the formwork should be more than 100mm higher than the equipment bottom plate. Nail a 25mm thick 45° beveled wooden strip at the grouting level on the inner side of the formwork to avoid stress concentration.
4. If the grouting area is larger than 2m × 2m × 150mm, leave an expansion joint 20mm wide. Wood boards or foam can be used.
5. Construction workers need to wear safety helmets, goggles, gloves, work shoes, etc.
Mixing
1. Pour Component B (curing agent) into Component A (resin) and mix thoroughly for 2 - 4 minutes with a hand-held mixer at about 250 revolutions per minute (mix with Component C as soon as possible).
2. For a vertical mixer at about 20 revolutions per minute, first add Component C (aggregate), then add the pre-mixed Components A and B, and then stir thoroughly until all the aggregate is wetted, which takes about 1 minute.
3. When the temperature is low or the grouting area is large, the amount of Component C (aggregate) can be appropriately reduced.
Grouting
1. Grouting should be carried out from one side to the other. Avoid vibration during the grouting process. The extrusion method or the high-position funnel method can be used for grouting. Grouting must be continuous and completed as soon as possible.
After the construction is completed:
1. Inspection: You can use a hammer to tap the base plate.
2. Cleaning: Clean the machinery with a wet cloth within one hour.
3. Finishing: You can use a trowel to pick up a small amount of solvent to smooth the surface two hours after grouting.
4. Demolding: After the construction is completed, demolding can be carried out when the initial setting is reached depending on the ambient temperature.
Curing time (final setting): 72 hours @ 15°C, 48 hours @ 20°C, 36 hours @ 27°C, 24 hours @ 35°C
